However, when choosing a uniform color for the ceilings and walls in a small room, you should go with a light color. The paint seems to have no border and therefore the room looks larger. That’s because painting both the walls and the ceiling a uniform color can make the room seem larger. When you see ceiling and wall paint matching, it is usually in smaller rooms. Here are some tips on when to match ceiling and wall paint, and when to avoid it. But in some scenarios, you should avoid it. Sometimes, yes, it does make aesthetic sense to paint the ceiling the same color as the walls. So this begs the question: should I paint my ceiling the same color as my walls? The answer is not so simple. But white is rather plain, boring and in with some wall colors, it simply doesn’t work. When most people decide to repaint a room, there is usually an unforeseen consideration that throws a monkey wrench in the works: what color do we paint the ceilings? The go-to color choice for most ceilings is white. ![]() Which makes you finish missions alot faster, which also helps the story because it is not as wide and few inbetween anymore. To Match or Not to Match: Ceiling Paint Color What it does do is make the campaign way more streamlined, all that time spent on needless babysitting can be thrown out of the window. I actually set invasions to max 1, but the first invasion was 1600 points of dark eldar crap in the belis corona (cant remember the actual name) sector. I havent tried hard mode yet though, not sure how it affects AI in battle or on the map to be honest. Not really, you have to manage more ships and fight bigger battles (because the enemy scales with you) and not having to deal with the invasions makes the campaign alot shorter, but you get to have more fun. ![]() Does modding the invasion-frequency to zero work better on Hard or Normal difficulty? I'm leary of doing that on Normal since it might make the game too easy once I get my economy going. I'm wondering about doing the same thing, setting the invasion frequency to zero. It also allows to change points for ships, so I halved everything and made the biggest space marine ships pretty cheap (because they are soooo cool). Originally posted by BLWK:Same here, the campaign is really boring, I modded the game so the invasions are set to 0 (no invasions, only assaults). ![]() I hope the new campaign and the bigger battles with campaign ships update is a free one.Īnd also that they add AI companions for 2vs2 skirmishes and being able to customize the allied / enemy fleets. Ok, im enjoying the game, but it's a letdown. Now I see you can't customize ships weapons (replaced by the global upgrades tree, much less fun and appealing to me), you have smaller fleets / battles (in many battles I go with 2 fleets, with 10 ships or so, and can only play with 4 of em once in battle) and now I learn about this, less mission types. I didn't get 1st, and bought 2nd thinking it would have all the cool features from 1, and more. ![]() The game needs more variety so that every invasion doesn't feel like the exact same fight.Ī little bit disappointed with BFGA2. A higher frequency rate of battlefield random events (exploding jellyfish, plasma storms, etc) would also help mix things up. BFGA1 had more battle types, including convoy escort/destroy and bombardment. Originally posted by Hyndis:It will still be tedious if every battle is the same.
